【Properties and application】

1. Insoluble in water, but soluble in hot oil and organic solvents, it is a highly lipophilic emulsifier.

2. Used in W/O emulsifiers and nylon and viscose cord oils, it provides excellent fiber lubrication. It is also used in emulsification in machinery, coatings, and chemicals. It is used as an emulsifier in weighted mud for oil drilling; in food and cosmetics production; as a dispersant in the paint and coatings industry; as a stabilizer in titanium dioxide production; as an insecticide, wetting agent, and emulsifier in pesticide production; as a cosolvent in petroleum products; and as a rust preventative for rust-proof oils. It is used as a lubricant and softener in textiles and leather.

3. As a thin film anti-fogging agent, it exhibits excellent initial and low-temperature anti-fogging properties. The usage level is 1-1.5% in PVC and 0.5-0.7% in polyolefins.
