【Properties and application】

1. Easily soluble in water, fatty acids, and other organic solvents, with excellent emulsifying properties.

2. Used as an emulsifier in the ink and pharmaceutical industries.

3. Can be used as an emulsifier for organophosphorus pesticides.

4. Used as an o/w emulsifier for the emulsification of various plant, animal, and mineral oils.

5. In the textile industry, EL-40 is used as a component of wool and wool oils and chemical fiber finishes. It has both emulsifying and antistatic properties, and is particularly effective when mixed with other antistatic agents. It can also be used in sizing to eliminate foam in synthetic sizings. EL-40 has excellent diffusion and protective colloid properties. In the wool textile industry, it is used as a monomer for wool oils, is easily washed off, and exhibits excellent hard water resistance.

6. Used as a crude oil dehydrator in oilfields.

7. Used in the metalworking industry to formulate water-soluble metal cutting fluids.
