【Properties and application】

1. Soluble in alcohols, propylene glycol, cottonseed oil, mineral oil, with good emulsification, wetting and dispersing abilities.

2. Used as a softener, lubricant, solubilizer and emulsifier in cosmetic production, used in the production of astringent creams and astringent lotions; can be used as a solubilizer for brominated acids, used in the production of lipsticks and liquid balms, and can also be used to prepare foam baths, shampoos, cold perms, depilatories and hair straighteners, etc.

3. It can also be used as an oil-soluble spreading agent to prepare transparent gels with mineral oil, isopropyl alcohol esters, refined oil alcohol and water. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is mainly used as an emulsifier, lubricant and solubilizer for the manufacture of emulsions and creams.

4. Used as an emulsifying wetting agent, heavy dirt cleaning agent, dispersant in the rubber industry, and one of the components of oil spill dispersants in the petroleum industry and environmental protection industry.
