【Performance and characteristics】

1. This product disperses in hot water and dissolves in common organic solvents, exhibiting excellent emulsifying properties.

2. The chlorinated paraffin emulsion prepared with this product is smooth and stable, suitable for use in the metalworking and flame retardant industries.

【Application】

Add 11 parts (by mass) of chlorinated paraffin emulsifier to 100 parts of chlorinated paraffin and stir thoroughly to obtain a transparent emulsifiable concentrate. While stirring, add water to the emulsifiable concentrate in batches, 5 parts per batch, with a 1-minute interval. Note that within 50 parts of water, the addition speed must be slow, otherwise no emulsion with a certain particle size will be obtained. After adding a certain amount of water, the material will turn from transparent to milky white with a blue glow, and the viscosity will increase. At this time, the overall uniformity of the stirring should be maintained to ensure that the material has successfully transitioned from an oil-in-water phase to a water-in-oil phase. After 50 parts of water, the water addition speed can be appropriately increased. At this time, the material should have passed the viscous stage and gradually become non-sticky and thick, with a blue glow on the wall of the container. The amount of water added can be determined according to the concentration to obtain a white, delicate emulsion with a blue glow. (For reference)
