【Properties and application】

1. MPEG-1200 is used in the cosmetics, skincare, and pharmaceutical industries as a base and viscosity modifier for creams, ointments, and sticks, and also provides a thickening effect.

2. MPEG-1200 reacts with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid to produce MPEG (meth)acrylate, a primary macromolecular monomer used in the production of polycarboxylic acid-based cement water reducers.
